What can possibly be said about Sam Raimi’s cult Evil Dead franchise that hasn’t been said already?
Its as iconic as it is beloved and it gave us Ash Williams, Bruce Campbell and horror memes like ‘boomstick‘. Although most viewers probably remember the deadites as the villains from each of the three original films, the true force behind the terror that plagued Ash was actually the Kandarian demon. It’s ability to possess both people, plants and things, gave the film its titular villains – the slapstick deadites.
